MEET KAYLA JONES
NUTRITION COACH + OWNER OF REFRAME
With a background in competitive dance, CrossFit, Bodybuilding + Olympic Weightlifting—plus firsthand experience overcoming severe disorderly eating + body dysmorphia—I’ve tried just about everything, working through years of trial + error. Fast forward to now: my calling is to anyone to have to endure that type of internal turmoil.
I’m passionate about meeting clients where they are; creating personalized strategies for each unique chapter of their life. Through the years, I’ve been so fortunate to have helped hundreds of people through eating for performance, aesthetics, competition weight cuts, + even simply working on their relationship with food. As a coach, I consider myself a chameleon, adapting to individual needs + personalities, through the wide variety of tools in my tool box!

With a unique blend of expertise as a certified nutrition coach, midwife, + lawyer, I hope to bring a holistic + informed perspective to my coaching practice. As a single mother, I understand the challenges of balancing family life with personal health goals. My journey into nutrition coaching was inspired by my own experiences + a desire to empower others to make informed, sustainable choices.
I have been my own great nutritional science experiment throughout the years. If there is a dietary plan or dietary preference, I’ve tried it. I’ve been vegan, vegetarian, carnivore, paleo + attempted the whole gamut of juice cleanses + quick fixes. You want a vegan spin on a classic meat-based dish? I got you. Need to know how to cook a perfect medium rare steak? I’m your girl. Looking to encourage healthy habits in your kiddo’s nutrition alongside your own? I’ll show you how to make veggies fun (hint: no one can resist eating a red pepper bracelet).
I am a sucker for sarcasm, barely popped popcorn kernels at the bottom of the bowl, sour candy, hugs, a great burger, ambient lighting, the smell of incense, + anything related to my daughter (who is the funniest person I know).
Passionate about education + advocacy, I aim to redefine nutrition by debunking myths and promoting a balanced, realistic approach to healthy living. My mission is to help clients build a positive relationship with food, fostering long-term wellness + sustainability throughout the changing seasons of our lives.

NUTRITION COACH - Precision nutrition certified
Nutrition is one of the most impactful tools for overall well-being, influencing everything from energy levels to stress management. For years, I underestimated its role, but once I found balance in my nutrition, I saw significant improvements in my fitness, sleep, energy levels, and stress management.
As a parent, I understand how easy it is for personal health to take a backseat to life’s demands. However, prioritizing my nutrition not only improved how I felt, but also enhanced my ability to manage a busy lifestyle and be more present for those around me.
My goal is to help others experience the same feeling. Whether you're a parent, student, athlete, or someone with a demanding work schedule, no matter what phase of life you’re in, we all have goals—and we should feel our best while pursuing them!
Beyond nutrition coaching, I’m a strength and conditioning coach, runner, lifter, and avid reader. I have a passion for learning, a love for all things Halloween, enjoy backpacking, cinnamon rolls and black licorice (an acquired taste, I know!).
